The mission of Northwoods Partners (recently Northwoods Hospice Respite Partners or NHRP) is to provide resources that promote independence and healthy aging.

We believe our community should be a place where all people age with dignity. Our passion is to support older adults and their caregivers by providing resources that promote independence and healthy aging. We serve 480 square miles, encompassing the communities of Ely, Winton, Babbitt, Tower, Soudan, and the surrounding area. As a non-profit, we sustain our program and services through grants, private contributions from donors, support from area businesses and fundraising efforts. Thanks to our team and strong volunteer base, we are able to provide a healthier community where people can age in place.
